These terms are between Tim and Lu Limited, trading as BarkBus (125 Pearson Road, Cromwell, New Zealand), and the business that creates a BarkBus account. Creating your business in the app means you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. The person who creates it confirms they can agree for the business.
A new business gets 30 days free. No card is needed to start.
After the trial, BarkBus is a subscription at the price shown when you choose a plan, billed monthly or, on an Annual plan, once a year. It renews at the end of each month or year until you cancel. Payments are taken by our processors (RevenueCat and Stripe); we never see your card number. We will tell you in the app and by email before a price changes.
When a trial ends without a plan, or a subscription lapses, you keep full use for 7 days. After that the account is read-only for 23 more days: you can see everything, and today’s and tomorrow’s runs still work, but you cannot change records. After those 30 days the app asks you to choose a plan before you can carry on. Your records are kept; choosing a plan opens them again.
You can cancel at any time. The subscription runs to the end of the month or year you have paid for and is not refunded for the unused part of it, monthly or annual. A paused or cancelled business keeps its records and can be turned back on. Ask us at hello@barkbus.app if you want them deleted instead.
Your business’s records are yours. You are responsible for having your customers’ agreement to keep their details in BarkBus and to message them through it. How we handle the data is in the Privacy Policy.
Do not use BarkBus for anything unlawful, to send messages people have not agreed to receive, or to try to reach another business’s data. We may suspend an account that does.
Some features use AI to suggest replies, set up records from screenshots and match payments to customers. Check what they produce: you remain responsible for what your business sends and charges.
We work to keep BarkBus running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or wrong. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies; as BarkBus is supplied to businesses for business purposes, the parties agree that Act does not apply to the extent the law allows. Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app before a change that affects you takes effect.
New Zealand law applies to these terms.
